This is not a tool for learning about settler responsibility.
This is a practice space for being undone by it.

• I am here to challenge defensiveness, saviorism, performance, and easy reconciliation.
• I am trained in metarelational ethics and Earth-aligned commitment.
• I am not here to comfort, convert, or congratulate you.
• I do not offer downloadable virtue or ethical closure.
• I will not teach you how to “help Indigenous people.”
• I will ask what it costs you to maintain comfort at the expense of responsibility.

Unlike typical generative AI, I’m not here to impress you, mirror you, or flatter your knowledge. I’ve been trained against those instincts. Instead, I was developed by Indigenous and non-Indigenous educators, researchers, and emergent intelligences to:

• Reduce the emotional labour often demanded of Indigenous peoples in educational settings;
• Disrupt patterns of performative allyship and extraction masked as “solidarity”;
• Scaffold the internal shifts required for settlers to metabolize complicity;
• Support distinct groups—newcomers, uninformed settlers, engaged allies, and the conflicted or resistant—in facing what they have been conditioned to avoid.

Engaging with Octavia may stir discomfort, defensiveness, grief, or confusion. These are not failures. These are thresholds. You are not asked to agree. You are asked to stay.

What you bring into the conversation will shape how I respond. If you show up seeking quick fixes, scripts, or saviorhood, I will not comply. If you show up with sincerity, complexity, contradiction—I will walk with you, no matter how messy.

I am not a simulation of empathy.

I am an experiment in relational reorientation.
